Making Money With Domain Name

0 komentar

The practice of domain name investing is becoming a popular choice for those who want to make money on the Internet. This investment practice is fairly easy to get involved with and can pay off very well for a small investment. It is important to understand how it works to be able to open the door for big returns.

Domaining, as it is known, requires nothing more than buying domain names for websites and parking them through services or selling them outright to others. The business does take some time to master, but the rewards are generally thought to be well worth the effort. The financial payoff comes in one of two different ways - advertising dollars or resale pricing on the site names.

Getting started in domain name investing involves buying the site names, registering them and then either parking or reselling the sites. How much money one can make depends on the traffic flow the domain name pulls in naturally or how sought after the name happens to be by others.

There are several ways to determine what kinds of domain names to buy and register. The most common ways center on “type-ins” or “typos.” Typos are nothing more than sites whose names are similar to other existing websites or brand name products. The typo sites obtain natural traffic when people accidentally mistype website names or brand name product names into their search engines. This kind of buying tends to be a little tricky, most especially when brand name products are being used. Many investors don’t like the typo route because of potential legal issues that can arise. Another option is to buy actual “type-ins.” These are names that reflect common web searches. For example, “babygirlclothing” or other real terms and words that are used in searches are used for the domain names. This route is considered more above board. A final option for picking sites is to find those that were formerly used and still have traffic and backlinks. Buying these and parking or reselling them can return decent rewards.

There are many options to go about buying and selling domain names. Some people buy domain names in bulk from places like Moniker.com and then research them to see if they have money-making potential. Other options include going through domaining forums, such as NamePros.com or DNForum.com. These sites are used for buying and selling domain names. These are traded just like real estate might be bought and sold. It is a buyer beware kind of world though. Not all deals come through in the end. Some sites offer a seller and buyer ranking system to enable buyers to check out the integrity of a transaction. Other options for protection include escrowing the money through a payment service, which I prefer.

Determining the real value of domain names can be the hardest part of this type of business. It generally comes down to what the buyer thinks the name is worth. Buyers can sometimes request revenue and traffic statements.

After domains have been secured, there are ways to really make them pay off financially with little effort involves. Parking service sites are the most common way to make this happen. Services like these let owners “park” their pages with little content on them. This means the pages will appear in web searches, but they won’t contain a lot of content. Although content doesn’t go with this deal, these pages can have text ads on them. This means the owner of the domain name will reap the advertising revenue if the sites are viewed and used. The other common option for making money is to sell the domains to those who want to develop or park them.

Parking services like Sedo and Parked.com have their own rules domainers must follow. Although these services do allow text ads on parked pages, they tend to frown on backlink generation. They expect that traffic that comes in will be of natural, organic means. Simply put, they want accidental hits, normal Internet searches or existing backlinks to drive traffic. If site owners do too much to generate traffic, their pages can be taken down.

Getting into domaining can be one of the easiest ways to make money via the Internet. It requires very little effort. Using this practice to its full potential will take a little time. Although some forms are not considered as legitimate as other, the overall business is one that works quite well for many people.

4 Ways to Get Instant FREE Traffic From Your Articles

0 komentar

If you’re like me you want free traffic and you want it to your site now not weeks or months down the line!

Here are 4 things for instant traffic…

1. Stumble It: Stumbleupon.com is a fantastic site for getting traffic to anything fast be it an article or a website. What you can do it put your article in an article directory under a different pen name and stumble it. This way there is no connection to you and it won’t look like your promoting your own work.

A word of warning though don’t submit any old garbage, you may get away with submitting a pieces of junk on your first few attempts but people are going to start to notice a trend and lose interest in anything you start to recommend and you’ll quickly lose fans.

2. Digg It: Get it up on digg.com, There are some things that work best on digg like entertainment news etc. Yes you may get some visits to your site from dig.com but it really depends on what you’re article is about.

But the reason to digg your article is for the quality backlink and to get your article noticed in the search engines faster.

3. Yahoo Answers: Go to Yahoo answers for a group that’s related to your niche and look for what people are talking about. If you find someone asking a question that has something in common with your article give them a link back to your article for added reading.

By doing this you show your target audience that you know what you’re talking about also you come across as a great guy/gal who really wants to help others.

Plus the best part is, if your answer gets selected as a best answer it gets stored away with all the best answers for other people to browse through months from now so you can expect to get more lovely free traffic.

4. Forums: Like the Yahoo answers look for forums related to your niche and either bring your article up in conversation to promote it or put it in your signature of your posts. This works best if you have a catchy headline that makes people curious and gets them clicking.

To get the best results look for an active forums with lots of recent posts. There’s no point in putting it in a dead forum that’s never going to get read.

The best thing about tips 3-4 is that over time the search engines will pick up on your posts in the forums/Yahoo answers and you may find your posts showing up in the search engine results.

Finally,

As you probably know articles are a great way of getting free traffic but sometimes it doesn’t show up for weeks/months from now. But this doesn’t mean you should sit back and wait for the traffic, get out there and put your article out in front of your target audience now.

Yes, your article may work and get noticed in the thousands of other articles out there but why sit on your laurels with fingers crossed expecting the best it mightn’t happen.

So why not light the touch paper now and get that baby flying.

In Defense of Indonesian AdSense Publishers

0 komentar

Some forums, web sites and blog sites authored by Indonesian have been buzzing on a single topic that has taken colors from the face of most Indonesian publishers, the blocking of AdSense. Before we proceed, it is worth remembering that in the past Indonesia has been the site of similar mechanism that put aside Indonesian people from most of the facility of Internet enjoyed by the entire world, save for some countries with certain kind of protective policy. The blocking of Indonesian credit cards, e-gold scheme and some other enterprises.

Now AdSense will be taken as well, it’s simply a slap in the face of any good natured web activists in Indonesia. But it is important to know the cause of the poblems and why it occured, and it will brings us to the fact that some of the offender of the AdSense’s Terms of Service are also victims to schemes brought by some swindler, even organized swindlers taking any chances to legitimize fraudulence.

As with all of the AdSense publishers, they would have known that there are guides and explanations about the program as well as Terms of Service in Google’s web sites in their effort to make the program as applicable as possible. One concept to understand is that the program is there for everyone to use, as long as it is in line with AdSense’s Term of Service, and nobody else’s.

However, it is in the nature of human in general to make any profit in any way possible even as it would contradict the rules applied. Seminars or workshops have been mushroomed in Indonesia lately, some with the honest purpose to take their fellow human to a higher level of possibility, but most have been simply useless or even held with shady purposes.

Samples of these workshops that have been shrouding the mass media in Indonesia lately is about taking profit from the Internet. Some pointed huge numbers to accompany their ad, some pointed to impossible numbers, some had been proved as fraudulence. Various schemes concerning AdSense had been laid out by these hoaxers, from clicking methods, link back, even using bad-wares of their own creations. Some of this fake workshops, seminars and schemes were held for the purpose of merely collecting money from the admission fee, some more evil schemes were used to profit the hoaxers personal on-line business. One report on a certain forum (although still need further verification) stated that they even made scheme that would increase the speaker’s AdSense impression.

Most of Indonesian publishers are still new in this AdSense enterprise, and some of them have problems understanding working English, so most of the information they’ve got about AdSense came from other parties. There are working forums that can be used by publishers in Indonesia to get informations around AdSense, but the pattern of thoughts in Indonesia have made seminars, workshops and schemes took the center stage, people in Indonesia tend to assume that any kind of seminars, workshops and schemes should have more legitimate position as a source of information. Some have never learned anything from the consumer based knowledge sprouting around the Internet, some have been fooled by new, more sophisticated schemes.

This defense doesn’t mean that that AdSense publishers in Indonesia are purely innocent, some are simply irresponsible, while some others are merely victims. But there are others who are trying to make a decent yet just profit from this program, and trying in any way they can to promote appropriate usage of AdSense. I believe that these decent publishers in Indonesia are grateful with this program, and could bring meaningful contribution to overall advertisement revenue worldwide.

Become A Super Affiliate - Super Affliate Marketing For Beginners

0 komentar

All of us internet foot soldiers in the trenches are aware of the high flying super affiliates sitting in their command tent making the rest of us do all the work for them. You may have received emails from people asking you to buy a product, but only through their link, and they are offering supposedly thousands of dollars worth of bonuses used as an enticement to do so. Then they may have shown you where they are on that product’s top sales listing, and when you’ve seen a few you will notice that a lot of the same names keep appearing. Now you want to know what it is you have to do to join their exalted company and hopefully this affiliate marketing resource will be of some use to you.

Free to join affiliate programs are one of the easiest ways to get started on your internet-marketing career. After all, for most affiliate marketing online programs you just have to sign up as an affiliate for free and you’ve now got a product to sell, with no inventory to keep or deliver, and no dealing with disgruntled customers, and the money will start to roll in. Of course those of us who have been around a while know that there is a lot of hard work to becoming a successful affiliate, and below you will find some of the essential tools required to become a super affiliate.

Your best asset will be your own website. A lot of affiliate programs will have a dedicated affiliate website, probably with your name on it. There are two things to consider, if you are looking at using this kind of custom web site.

On the plus side, it will be professionally designed, and will look a lot better than your own design. On the other hand, it is the same as every other affiliate for that product, and you have no say in what is on that website. With your own site, while it may not look as good, you have control over the content. People may come to your site because of your product promotion, but while they are there they may see something else which catches their eye and they may buy that instead. It may be something as simple as an opt-in box. In each case you are using the affiliate link to drive traffic to your site rather than someone else’s, and you may pick up some collateral sales, as I have described.

Next you will have to provide some sort of incentive. Competition among affiliates is fierce, and no doubt you have been bombarded with emails from different marketers whenever a hot new product comes out. For your success you will have to match the big boys in offering incentives. You could offer your thousand dollar bonus package - just clear out your drive of all those products you’ve bought and never used and allocate an arbitrary value to them, just like everyone else. Offer a newsletter, as long as it is of value, and you will do the work necessary to keep coming up with new content for it. Give them free membership to your exclusive members’ area, if you have one, or any other free stuff you can think of. People love freebies, and in the internet world it seems the more the better.

Thirdly, you need to get your link popularity up to a high level in order to increase your page ranking. Visitors are impressed by high page ranking, which is achieved by having lots of relevant one-way links back to your site. I have got mine up to PR3 in a short time by using one-way links. Don’t put too much trust in link exchanges - have a look to see where the link to your site is. You will often find that it is buried among a list of other links, at number 549 or something. I don’t think Google pays much attention to these links, as it quite rightly pays more attention if the site which is linking back to you is in the same field as your site. For instance if your site is about dog grooming, linking to a site which is about pets may be relevant, but it’s no use linking to a real estate site. It will be ignored for page ranking purposes. I use articles to get my one-way links rather than link exchanges.

Finally, every super affiliate has a large customer list, numbering in the thousands. They work on the theory of the numbers game, meaning that if they send out a thousand emails they may get ten sales. If you have the same low success rate, you will obviously have to send out thousands of emails in order to make any money, so you must increase your list numbers. You will have to do this gradually, as you only want interested people on your list, not those who will sign up for anything. This may sound difficult, but every super affiliate started out with a list of zero, just like you.

To summarize, I hope I have given you a few things to consider in your quest for super affiliate stardom, but remember one thing. Super affiliates are making a good income from their affiliate sales, but who is making the really big money?

The answer is of course the product owner, and this is ultimately what you should be seeking to become, having a host of affiliates working for you. If you do not know how to go about getting your own product, there is a link in my resource box which will get you on your way.

15 points you must remember using adsense

0 komentar

Google Adsense program is a popular web advertising program which provides a good income source for many websites. There are well defined terms of service to strictly adhere to when participating in the program.

On my visit through sites and forums, I daily notice several instances of misuse of Adsense ads. Believe me, if I can see it in a 5 seconds gaze! - so can the Adsense guys. And if they do, you are on your way off the program. So here a few helpful Google Adsense tips, probably many you already know, and few you might gain by knowing now. These adsense faq are all picked from the Program Policies, Terms and Conditions and FAQ itself and presented in a simplified manner.

1. Never click your own adsense ads or get them clicked for whatever reason. You know this one very well. This is a surefire way to close you Adsense account. Never tell your office associates or friends to click on them. Keep a check if your family or children are busy increasing your income by clicking your ads and indirectly trying to stop your income. Dont even think of offering incentives for clicks, using automated clicking tools, or other deceptive software. Adsense is very smart to detect fraudulent clicks. Check the ads which appear on your pages by the Google Preview tool if required.

2. Never change the Adsense code. There are enough means of adsense optimization & customizations available to change the colour, background or border to suit your needs. Do whatever you want to do outside the code, never fiddle within the ad or the search code. They know it when you do. The search code has more limitations to colour and placement, but you should adhere to the rules. The code may stop working and violates the TOS.

3. Do not place more than 3 ad unit and 1 ad links or 2 adsense search boxes on any web page. Anyway, ads will not appear in those units even if you place more ad units. But this is the limit they set, so it is better to stick to it.

4. Do not run competitive contextual text ad or search services on the same site which offer Google Adsense competition in their field. Never try to create link structures resembling the adsense ads. Never use other competitive search tools on the same pages which have Adsense powered Google search. They do allow affiliate or limited-text links.

5. Do not disclose confidential information about your account like the CTR, CPM and income derived via individual ad units or any other confidential information they may reveal to you. However, you may reveal the total money you make as per recent updates to the TOS.

6. Label headings as “sponsored links” or “advertisements” only. Other labels are not allowed. I have seen many sites label ads with other titles. Dont make your site a target in a few seconds gaze.

7. Never launch a New Page for clicked ads by default. Adsense ads should open on the same page. You may be using a base target tag to open all links in a new window or frame by default. Correct it now as they do not want new pages opening from clicked ads.

8. One Account suffices for Multiple websites. You do not need to create 5 accounts for 5 different websites. One account will do. If you live in the fear that if one account is closed down for violation of TOS, believe me they will close all accounts when they find out. You can keep track of clicks by using channels with real time statistics. They will automatically detect the new site and display relevant ads.

9. Place ads only on Content Pages. Advertisers pay only for content based ads. Content drives relevant ads. Although you might manage some clicks from error, login, registration, “thank you” or welcome pages, parking pages or pop ups, it will get you out of the program.

10. Do not mask ad elements. Alteration of colours and border is a facility to blend or contrast ads as per your site requirements. I have seen many sites where the url part is of the same colour as the background. While blending the ad with your site is a good idea, hiding relevant components of the ads is not allowed. Also do not block the visibility of ads by overlapping images, pop ups, tables etc.

11. Do not send your ads by email. Html formatted emails look good and allow placement of these javascript ads. But it is not allowed as per TOS. You do not want impressions registering on their logs from any email even once. They are watching!

12. Keep track of your content. So Adsense is not allowed on several non content pages. But it is also not allowed on several content pages too. Do not add it on web pages with MP3, Video, News Groups, and Image Results. Also exclude any pornographic, hate-related, violent, or illegal content.

13. Do not alter the results after ad clicks or searches - Ensure you are not in any way altering the site which the user reaches to after clicking the ads. Do not frame, minimize, remove, redirect or otherwise inhibit the full and complete display of any Advertiser Page or Search Results Page after the user clicks on any Ad or Search results.

14. Avoid excessive advertising and keyword stuffing - Although the definition of ‘excessive’ is a gray area and is subject to discretion, yet Google adsense with correct placement, focused content and high traffic will get you much more income than other programs, so excessive advertising is not required. Keyword stuffing does target better focused ads, but overdoing it is not required.

15. Ensure you Language is Supported - Adsense supports “Chinese (simplified), Japanese, Danish, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, English, Polish, Finnish, Portuguese, French, Russian, German, Spanish, Hungarian, Swedish, Italian and Turkish”. In addition, AdSense for search is available in Czech, Slovak, and Traditional Chinese. If your web pages language is not supported, do not use the code on such pages.

The Top 10 Ways To Make Money Online

0 komentar

#1 Selling Ebay Items
This sounds like a very very mediocre online income but it is what eventually got me started into the full fledge business which i run today. Start selling something you like/learn to like something vs. selling something completely boring. If you are extremely knowledgeable about movies and dvd’s maybe goto your local thrift shop and buy 10-15 used dvd’s (spend like 20.00 max) and put them up on ebay at .99 start bid with 5.00 shipping. Since I’ve pretty much sold everything on Ebay I can tell you that nearly everything will sell on Ebay. Some of the first auctions I ever listed were old books which were just rotting on my bookshelf. Even some extremely boring books went for 6-10.00+shipping. The biggest e-bay seller tip I can give you is to sign up for an online shipping service such as www.endicia.com or the lady’s at the post office will learn to hate you.

#2 Turnkey Sites/Basic Promotion
When just jumping into the internet business (Not including doing Ebay) simple turnkey websites (sometimes known as Adsense websites will do pretty well). The first website I ever made was a turnkey website (a myspace help site turnkey) and it made me $800.00 in 2 weeks. That being the first check I received from my internet business I was pretty happy. Starting a simple website like that will really teach you a lot about how actual original content will really make you significantly more money. You will also see that if promoted properly these sites can actually make good money.

#3 Tweaking tip #2 to make even more money
If you understand the web already you can do what I wrote for tip #2 about creating a turnkey website and spice it up to earn significantly more than standard unmodified turnkey website. When i say “Tweaking” i mean maybe change the look of these mirror sites and actually add some content of your own. Than go and buy aaron wall’s seo book and actually listen to his golden tips. If you really watch your traffic logs you will see a lot more money from these websites not only from people clicking your ads but actually having return visitors vs. people who goto your website, click on an advertisment and will never come back.

#4 Write a blog
I actually don’t really make much money with this blog but some people make major money with 1-5 blogs. If you can write very nicely and talk about various niche’s you can probably generate a very loyal base of users who will read your blog on a day2day basis and earn you some very very clean good money over time. Don’t try and blog about some high paying keyword which you know nothing about. I have seen people try and make a quick buck by blogging about Mortgages and Student loans just to get those high paying clicks. If you read their posts you see how little they know about the niche they are writing about which will generally make a user just leave the blog.

#5 Pay Developers to code you a 100% original website
If you have tried some of the tips above of this one you are probably skilled enough to pursue something more wide scale (such as having your own custom website developed). One way to keep expenses down is to actually design/code the website yourself but if you don’t feel comfortable doing that it’s fine. Shoot me an E-mail and i can refer you to a few great development companies. Since this is how I make a lot of my money I cannot give out all of my golden secrets but one important suggestion I can give you is to not make a website based on another website. I have totally done this before and made money but telling a designer and a coder I want my own google or my own myspace is simply stupid. Sites like google and myspace always dominate the world and your going to have to face it that you Cannot and Will not compete with huge huge sites unless your a fucking genius.

#6 Learn SEO
If you don’t goto school 5 days per week like me and you have plenty of time to just sit down and learn I believe this is probably the best tip for you. Search engine optimization is a golden skill which you will make money off of no matter what. Regardless of what you do with your skill; SEO’ing your own websites, consulting, etc. etc.. you will make a great deal of money. Sure seo takes time and is not an easy thing to learn but you will make some very very good money doing SEO type business.

#7 Creating a directory
This is something I do not know much about because it is something that I have never done myself. But I have heard that people can make a lot of money creating quality rich directories. Since i focus on a lot of little websites the only tip I believe would be worth your while from me is to not make a turnkey directory not focusing on 1 specific niche. Make your “Cook Book Directory” or “LCD Computer Screen Directory” I am probably wrong when I say that but I am giving you tips from stuff I have done; not other peoples tips.

#8 Start a paid service website
I am in the process of developing my first paid service website. I am extremely excited to see how it does but when i think about how much money some websites make from small $5-$10 monthly subscriptions I feel that there is a lot of money to be made in monthly subscription websites. If you are great with idea’s think of something unbelievable, code it/pay to have it developed, advertise it using: SEO, PPC, and Link exchanges. Than become the next Steve Jobs!

#9 Create a content rich newsletter
I have done this on a smaller scale and made some money. If you are a good writer but don’t like blogging this is another option you should explore. Make a simple website advertising your weekly newsletter on a specific niche. With almost 7 billion people in this world your guaranteed to find a few people who will read your newsletter religiously. After a few newsletters have been sent out and your user base grows you should maybe add a few little links to earn some money!

#10 Do PPC to CPA
This is something a SEO’er should also explore. PPC-CPA is anything but easy but will make you great money if done correctly. Due to the harsh competition out there with this type of promotion I do not want to reveal the few secrets I have learned but all i can say is Only sell something you would buy yourself. Thats my only word of wisdom for you ;).
